Migros-Mania is one of the biggest promotions in Switzerland. Across three languages the Suisse Mania promotion encourages families to learn more about Switzerland and collect its most beautiful sights. The promotion was a focused online experience, including a large competition. Migros pitched this event, and we won with our 3D experience.
Storytelling at its best
The in 3D digitally recreated collection items can be observed from all angles. Bridges, castles or even the CERN are located on the map and tell their individual story. In four languages the narrator educates the user about the highlights of the sight. Simple, direct and fun to discover for kids of all ages.
Innovative experience thanks to interdisciplinary teamwork
Suisse Mania is a result of an agile, iterative process between concept, content development, art direction, UX design, WebGL development, sound design, frontend development and 3D design. Multiple teams in multiple countries, one beautiful experience.
3D - WebGL - Performance
Together with Goo Tech and their 3D WebGL engine we have been able to deliver a large canvas 3D environment that runs on all devices and browsers in high speed. Making sure the journey to the Matterhorn is not bumpy.
User statistics show a high usage and involvment with a very young user group. Schools and teachers are leveraging the platform in class. The platform has become a valuable tool for contemporary knowledge transfer.
